The Drone Life LLC is an unmanned aircraft system (drone) service provider which specializes in the industrial, renewable and construction industries.

When procurement bidding takes place, potential clients want to know a service's reputation, client testimonials and overall work process. The CEO of The Drone Life tasked me with designing a B2B marketing material that would fulfill this objective. Through this guide, prospects can learn about my client’s key accomplishments and solidify their confidence in working with the business.
With the copywriter’s content and CEO’s review discussions, I was tasked to design and digitally produce the final PDF.
What key aspects play into establishing business trust?
After a presentation of rough sketches to the client, the design process involved mainly reiterating certain data visualizations such as:
- Service's process flowchart - The Flight Plan
- Competitive feature checklist - What Makes Us the Right Choice
Our challenge was deciding on what content to keep or omit in order to make the guide easy to skim. I suggested condensing certain categories based on similarity and adding testimonials from past clients. Through these methods, the guide maintains a flow that is easy to understand while being visually pleasing.
Data visualization is a powerful tool.
Though most of the design process was simple, I learned how important it is to present data visualizations.
Making sure charts and infographics are easy readable and have a flow is a challenge in its own; something I enjoyed overcoming.
